Spirit of the Kingfisher Mask
Inspired by the vivid colours and fleeting movement of the kingfisher, this expressive mask captures an impression of the bird rather than attempting a realistic likeness. Rich blues and turquoise, flashes of orange and flowing wool fibres evoke the kingfisher's distinctive plumage and its association with water.
Handcrafted from wool using a blend of wet-felting and needle-felted detail, the mask is lightweight and comfortable to wear, whilst retaining the rich texture and character of handmade felt.
The mask may be worn or displayed as a piece of wall art.
It comes with an adjustable elastic fitting and a mounting pad for easy wall display. The eyes shown in the display photographs are felted onto the mounting pad to complete the sculpture and are not part of the wearable mask itself. The reverse of the mask is lined with soft polycotton for comfort.
Every piece is handmade as a singular work in wool and fibre, shaped and finished entirely by hand.

SHIPPING INFO
We aim to dispatch your mask within 3–5 working days. Our delivery charge includes postage, protective packaging and handling.
Orders are normally sent using an appropriate Royal Mail tracked service, selected according to the item and delivery requirements. A signature may be required on delivery. Tracking details will be provided (usually through Royal Mail) once your order has been dispatched.

We currently offer international shipping to selected destinations: Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States.
Orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to import VAT, customs duties and local handling charges. These are determined by the destination country's authorities and are the responsibility of the recipient.
International orders are normally sent using Royal Mail's tracked international services, subject to availability for the destination.
