Firebird the Phoenix Mask
Firebird is a handcrafted Phoenix mask created from natural wool using a blend of traditional wet-felting and detailed needle-felt embellishment. Built upon a shaped felt base, this method creates a lighter mask that is especially comfortable to wear, whilst still retaining the rich texture and character of handmade felt.
Inspired by the folklore of the Firebird and the imagery of flame and renewal, the mask may be worn or displayed as wall art.
Each mask comes with an adjustable elastic fitting and a mounting pad, enabling easy wall display. The eyes shown in the main product photograph are felted onto the mounting pad to complete the display and are not part of the mask itself. The reverse of the mask is lined with soft polycotton for comfort.
